The Coming 2 America trailer has arrived!
On Tuesday (December 22), Amazon Prime Video released the highly anticipated first look at the sequel to the hit 1988 film, along with its synopsis: "Set in the lush and royal country of Zamunda, newly-crowned King Akeem (Eddie Murphy) and his trusted confidante Semmi (Arsenio Hall) embark on an all-new hilarious adventure that has them traversing the globe from their great African nation to the borough of Queens, New York – where it all began."
Shari Headley, who played Lisa and won Akeem's heart, John Amos, who played her father Cleo and was the famous owner of McDowell's, and James Earl Jones, who played King Jaffe, have all reprised their roles from the beloved 1988 comedy.
Fans will also see a few new faces, including Teyana Taylor, Wesley Snipes, and Leslie Jones.
The film will debut on Amazon Prime on March 5, 2021.
