Don't worry Darling star KiKi Layne believes most of her scenes ended up on the cutting room floor.

During the film's opening weekend, Layne, who portrayed Magaret in Olive Wilde's Don't Worry Darling, shared on Instagram that a number of the scenes she filmed with fellow co-star Ari’el Stachel were axed from the movie.

“The best thing about #DontWorryDarling is that I was lucky enough to meet @arielstachel. They cut us from most of the movie, but we thriving in real life,” she wrote alongside footage of the two.

In her post, Layne added hashtags “Got My Check,” “Got My Man” and “Everything Happens for a Reason," seemingly confirming that she's dating Stachel, who she's been linked to since 2020.

Stachel replied to the post in the comments, “My love. You are a queen and your talent shines so bright. I was thirsty then and I’m thirsty now.”

He also shared his own Instagram post reflecting on his experience filming the movie with Layne.

“My favorite part of my experience in Don’t Worry Darling. This woman did phenomenal work and I was thirsty the second I met her,” Stachel wrote.

Despite the controversies surrounding the film, Don’t Worry Darling brought in over $19 million during its opening weekend, Deadline reports.
